Join us for a full day of fun at our Summer Camp Open House! Get a sneak peek of summer at FIAF with one of our free 30-minute trial classes — view complete schedule below. Enjoy activities including a treasure hunt en français for kids of all ages from toddlers to teenagers.

Throughout the day, stop by the information desk on the 6th floor to ask questions about our immersive summer camps that will be offered at FIAF from June 17 to August 9. Our teachers will be on hand to help you select the perfect program for your child.

No prior French required.

Class Schedule

Draw & Create with Le Petit Prince

For ages 3-4
10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm
Children will discover the world of French through poetry and art. They will learn about colors, shapes, and figures, and will draw and make collages inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s beloved character.

Travel with Jules Verne

For ages 5-10
10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm
Inspired by the adventures of Jules Verne, kids embark on an exciting voyage to discover links between France and New York through literature and science.

Experiments and New Technologies by French Scientists

For ages 11-14
10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm
Teens will be immersed in French language by experimenting with science, playing games, and creating their own avatar.

Augmented Reality Treasure Hunt: Urmado

For 4 & up

Inspired by Japanese folklore, Uramado weaves together an immersive journey around the Tanukis and Yokais, spirits from the natural world who have woken up in New York City. Through augmented reality, they come to life in surprising and whimsical ways, engaging the viewer with questions and a special gift.
